To communicate the fascinating history of Sri Lanka’s beloved coconut spirit to a new audience, People Make Places headed to the distillery’s remote base in the Indian Ocean to discover how the drink is made. The result was a brand and editorial strategy that conveys a natural narrative, collaborating with Monocle Magazine to create short films, an engaging website and a bespoke publication, The Adventures of Arrack.
